Gabrianne is a therapist who is passionate about helping children and their families restore and maintain connection. She has previously worked in many different fields of social work including disaster relief, refugee and immigrant services, child and family reunification services and school social work. Her experiences both internationally and locally have given her a unique perspective that aids in her abilities as a therapist. She believes in the integration of care throughout the different facets of a child’s life and enjoys the collaborative process. Gabrianne’s work is rooted in attachment theory and she believes that parental figures play a vital role in the therapeutic process and encourages parental participation as a cornerstone of care.
Gabrianne uses a trauma informed care approach with all her clients and takes into consideration each child’s unique experiences and background throughout the therapeutic process. She creates a warm, welcoming and fun environment where all feelings and experiences are welcomed and accepted. She has a passion for working with children in foster care and children who have been adopted, children who have experienced trauma and children with mental health diagnoses.
Gabrianne holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Kansas and has further training in Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
