Kana Love is a passionate mental health professional with over 5 years of experience and dedication to helping individuals overcome their mental health and behavioral challenges. Over the years, she has supported many children in finding safe connections with others while healing from trauma wounds. Kana has a great desire to promote secure connections between child and parent in the name of healing and growth.
Traumatic experiences, attachment disruption and difficult life events can often create breaks in connection. In session, Kana works delicately to promote safety, trust and growth throughout the therapeutic process. She intentionally focuses on the development of connection, so that children and their families can learn to hope, love and find delight in each other, again.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Kana holds a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Avila University. She has additional experience from trainings in supporting attachment and trauma informed treatments.
