Xinli comes to the therapy world with vast cross-cultural experiences and a deeply caring heart for others. He is a relationally active listener who believes that we are all born with the longing, creativity and capacity to heal, and that healing is a wholistic process that births true growth. He sees his role as coming alongside to cultivate hearts for connection and for seeds of hope to grow. His passion is to empower each individual, and their relational system, to experience a renewed vision in order to see their strength in weakness, embrace who they are, and appreciate how each part could interconnect with each other for a greater wholeness.
Xinli obtained a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Wheaton College, IL. Xinli is a trauma-informed therapist and specializes in treating depression, anxiety, identity struggles, and transitions in life for children, teens, couples and adults.
Xinli has also had extensive experience working with adoptive families and foster care children during the family reintegration process. Xinli is trained in TBRI (Trust Based Relational Intervention) and EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), and also uses integrative approaches such as IFS (Internal Family System) and EFT (Emotion Focused Therapy).
