John is currently a graduate student working towards his master’s degree in counseling at Ottawa University. With over thirty years of experience walking alongside children, teenagers, and families, John has a heart for helping people navigate life’s ups and downs. His work journey has taken him through residential mental health facilities, classrooms, and even the boardroom, giving him a deep understanding of the unique pressures we all face at different stages of life. With master’s degrees in both Education and Organizational Leadership, John blends a teacher’s heart with a leader’s vision, making him just as comfortable engaging with a young child through play therapy as he is coaching a business leader through a professional or personal hurdle.
John’s real passion is simply providing a safe, open space where you can bring your hardest questions and heaviest struggles without fear of judgment. He believes that everyone deserves to live in the fullness of who they are with passion and purpose, and he uses a warm, collaborative approach to help you discover or rediscover what that looks like by mixing practical CBT techniques with the creative freedom of play therapy for children, John works with you to build resilience and strengthen the connections that matter most. His goal isn’t just to help you find a way forward, but to ensure you find healing and fullness along the way.
