Lydia is passionate about making those in front of her feel seen, heard, and far from alone. As a client-centered, strengths-based Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Kansas, she received her M.S. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kansas and has diverse experience working with both children and adults. Before she became a counselor, she trained and worked in grief support and legal mediation.
She believes that conflict resolution is a big and ongoing part of every person’s life, including conflict within one’s self, and that therapy is a helpful place to learn more about relating to one’s self. She is passionate about play therapy with children and processing feelings through the vital language of play.
